i realised one thing: fear is only felt once

september 3, 20251 min read

i learned something today - something i wish i knew years ago.
fear feels infinite… until you move.
i kept overthinking, delaying, replaying every possible outcome.
i wrote scripts. i imagined failures. i built walls that didn't exist.
but when the moment came, i just… did it.
and suddenly, the weight vanished.
here's the truth: fear is never in the action.
fear lives in the pause before it.
if you have something in your head right now - say it.
if there's a step you've been avoiding - take it.
don't wait for courage to show up first. courage is built mid-step.

"you know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage."

stop calculating every possible ending.
the only thing you're wasting is time.
maybe it's asking someone out.
maybe it's starting that project.
maybe it's sending that message.
whatever it is - do it now.
fear is a one-time toll at the edge.
pay it once.
collect freedom forever.
